




CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
BARN BASICS
Short on time? Can you hang with me for 15 minutes? Barn Basics takes everything down a notch. When performed consistently, a 15-minute workout will allow you to feel stronger, more flexible, and happier from head to toe. Included in these 15-minute workouts are strength, core, and stretching. It's a great way to begin a consistent exercise program!
Equipment used: Bench, BOSU, dumbbells, body bar, tubes with handles, loop band, mat, 8-foot yoga strap, gliding discs. You may substitute equipment.
BARN DOUBLE
Yee-haw! 45+45=90. Strength, core, or TRX followed by 45 minutes of stretching and mobility. I promise to not waste a moment of our time together. Take note of the special instructions prior to class and you'll know what equipment you'll need. After 90 minutes, you'll be hollering, "It's a barn-good workout!"
Equipment used: Bench, BOSU, dumbbells, body bar, tubes with handles, loop band, mat, 8-foot yoga strap, gliding discs. You may substitute equipment.
CORE
Yikes!! We can do this together! Be prepared for a series of planks, push-ups, mobility training, balancing, hip stabilization, and a little upper and lower body training. Core is an effective, low-impact, high-intensity workout every time we are together. Workouts are 30 and 45 minutes.
Equipment used: BOSU, physioball, medicine ball, body bar, kettlebell and gliding discs are used often for this workout. You may substitute equipment.
STRENGTH
It’s the best BARN workout! We all need to strength train, so let's do it together. Constant variety is the name of the game. Upper body, lower body, mobility and a little core work all mixed up! Heavy dumbbells, light dumbbells, high reps, low reps, body bars, tubes, bands, kettlebells, and gliding discs. It’s never the same workout twice. I’ll choose a few pieces of equipment and create the workout. Workouts are 30 and 45 minutes.

STRETCH WITH ME!
It's the best BARN stretch! Come do a little stretching, mobility, and therapy with me! Often overlooked, a consistent stretching and mobility program enhances every aspect of life.
I love the active isolated stretching method. AIS is a 2-second hold per stretch repeated 10 or more times (I can lose count). When practiced regularly, you’ll notice chronic pain leaving your body, increased mobility, elevated mood, enhanced strength gains, and increased energy. Everybody should be stretching! If you are new to working out or an experienced fitness enthusiast, stretch with me! With a little dedication and discipline, your life will change in amazing ways. Stretch sessions are 30 or 45 minutes.
Equipment used: a comfortable mat, 8-foot yoga strap or rope, knee pad or cushion, access to a wall, a loop band, and yoga block for support (if needed).
TRX
Let's use your TRX Suspension trainer. Occasionally we add dumbbells, kettlebells, a body bar, or gliding discs to kick it up a notch. TRX is a fast-paced workout that challenges muscular strength and endurance, mobility, and flexibility. Expect a lot of reps! Workouts are 30 or 45 minutes.
Equipment used: TRX suspension trainer, mat, kettlebell, dumbbells, body bar or gliding discs may be used occasionally.
